Our camp staff is comprised of qualified
individuals working or studying in the field of social service,
education, health services or other related areas. All staff are
required to complete a week of training, and hold current CPR and
First Aid certifications. Summer staff consists of a full time
camp director, assistant director, activity director, registered nurse,
licensed practical nurses, food service, counselors,
counselors-in-training, arts and crafts specialist, nature
specialist, music specialist, sports/games specialist, certified therapeutic riding
specialist, lifeguards and volunteers. This enables Dream Oaks
Camp to provide a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio of campers to counselor, based
upon the needs of the participant.
